Buying Your Phuket Villa At West Sands - Your Testimonials
It has been just over one year and 5 months since the first building contractor appeared on the West Sands land. One year later and owners were spending the festive season with their families in their own villas. We first heard about West Sands while on a holiday in Spain. We went to Spain to find an ideal investment that could be rented out so that it would be self funding. Even more important, be a great family holiday home, soothing to offer all age ranges in our family. Despite travelling up and down the Costas we had no luck finding the ideal place. It was only when back at the hotel doing a bit of research on the internet that we came across West Sands in Phuket.
One of our main demands was to be settled on the beach. Close to a beach is not good enough. We also decided to find a development a little bit away from the crowded beaches and it had to be a 5 star resort with a lot of facilities. Our first survey over the web also gave us that one of the major shareholders of the company owning West Sands was Sir Terry Leahy the CEO of Tesco Supermarkets Plc . Although we had never met Sir Terry personally, ourselves being business people on a European level, we had heard of his reputation being one of Europe most respected business leaders. We got the feeling that most likely he would fulfil his commitments and usually does not let customers down.
This was all the encouragement we needed as a start so we opened talks with West Sands over the possibility of purchasing a villa. We found Team West Sands extremely helpful and patient with all the questions that we asked so off we went, over to Phuket to see for ourselves.
The long flight was really worth it. We managed to look around a large amount of the developments taking place in Phuket but at the end the West Sands development kept creeping back to the top of our list. The unspoilt, absolute beach front location and potential of the Mai Khao area as the new “must be location” was hard to resist. One final look around the site that had just started construction at the time, we remember that the team had roped out the location of the units but even then we had to apply a little imagination.
8 months later we got back to Phuket to stay with the family in our villa for Christmas. Although the West Sands team keep everybody up to date with the construction photos on there web site we were still a little nervous.
We had a wide age range of family with us and despite all the worries and long flight within 20 minutes of landing we were all in our own private pool villa splashing about and thinking what a great decision and investment we had made.
